Social Media MindMap is a plugin for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, plus a website. It keeps a fact-checked record of the social media posts you saw (reels, TikToks, YouTube videos) and of your conversations about them, so you can find them again later. This page explains what data we handle and why.

What we store

• Your account: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
• Your memories: what your AI assistant saves through the plugin, mainly when you continue a Reels Fact Checker fact-check in it. Each memory has the post (its link, creator and what it says), the fact-check (verdict, claims and sources), the conclusions and questions from your conversation about it, its earlier versions, and dates.
• A meaning fingerprint of each memory (a list of numbers), so it can be found by meaning, not just by exact words.

We don't see your chats with your AI assistant: only what it saves or searches through the plugin. Your chats are covered by your AI provider's own privacy policy (for example Anthropic's or OpenAI's).

How we use it

Only to save your memories, find them when you or your AI assistant search, and show them to you on this website. To make the meaning fingerprints, the text of a memory, and each search, is sent through OpenRouter to OpenAI's embedding service, limited to providers that don't store or train on it. Search text isn't kept.

We don't sell your data, show ads, or share it with anyone except the providers named here. Reels Fact Checker, our separate fact-checking service, never sees your memories.

Where it's kept

Your account and memories are stored with Supabase in Ireland (EU). The website and plugin run on Vercel; technical logs (request times, errors) are kept for up to 30 days to fix problems. The website loads open-source code and fonts from the jsDelivr network. Some providers are based in the United States; data sent there is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in each provider's data processing terms.

Your choices

• See and export all your memories at any time on this website.
• Delete any memory, or your whole account with every memory, on this website. Deletion is immediate; database backups that may still contain it are erased within 7 days.
• Disconnect the plugin at any time in your AI assistant's settings.

You also have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data and to object to its use, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority).

Memories are your own notes and your AI's summaries. They can be wrong and are not medical, financial or legal advice.
